同济大学附属杨浦医院，又名上海市杨浦区中心医院，创建于1948年，1954年与圣心医院合并，1958年更名为杨浦区中心医院，是一家具有医疗、教学、科研功能的三级综合性医院。医院承担了区域内130万常住人口的医疗保健任务，是所在区域急危重症和疑难疾病的主要依托诊疗机构。

Yangpu Hospital of Tongji University, also known as the Shanghai Yangpu District Central Hospital，was founded in 1948. In1954 it was merged with Sacred Heart Hospital and in 1958 got the name “Yangpu District Central Hospital”. The hospital is a tertiary comprehensive hospital which not only provides clinical services to the community, but also conducts scientific research and undertakes clinical education. With its medical services covering around 1.3 million residents, the hospital is taken as the major medical facility for diagnosis and treatment of acute and difficult diseases within the district

.医院科室设置齐全，拥有内外妇儿等31个临床科室和影像、检验、病理等9个医技科室。医院现有职工1200余人，总建筑面积近6万平方米，由总院、中原分院、职业病分院组成。医院核定床位702张，实际开放床位950张，年门急诊量约150万余人次，年住院病人3万余人次。

The hospital has 31 clinical departments that include internal medicine, surgery, gynecology and pediatrics etc., and 9 medical technology departments such as imaging, clinical chemistry, pathology etc. The staff of the hospital amounts to more than 1,200 and the hospital’s total floorage measures up to 60,000 square meters . The hospital consists of the main hospital, the Zhongyuan Branch and Branch for occupational diseases with 950 beds. The hospital’s out-patient and ER visits are about 1.5 million per year and in-patient services amount to over 30,000 person times per year.

The hospital’s occupational medicine is a national key specialty of clinical medicine, well known in the country for its In-depth research in the pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of pneumoconiosis, decompression sickness, heavy metal poisoning and other diseases. The hospital also undertakes the task of diagnosis and treatment of occupational diseases and the training of occupational medical professionals.

妇产科是上海市医学重点专科，一直致力于微创妇科的临床诊疗和研究，尤其在微创治疗子宫肌瘤与盆地疾病方面具有鲜明的技术特色，其技术影响力辐射至全国。作为亚太理事会妇科内镜培训中心所在地和中国卫生部妇科内镜培训基地，培养了大量妇科专业人才。

Obstetrics and Gynecology of the hospital is a municipal key medical specialty in Shanghai，which specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological diseases with minimal invasive technology and has a distinctive technical feature in the minimal invasive treatment of uterine fibroids and pelvic disease and has nation-wide influence in this field. As a Gynecologic Endoscope training center of Asia-Pacific Council and a Gynecologic Endoscope training base of the Chinese Ministry of Health, the hospital has trained a large number of gynecological professionals.

骨科是上海市医学重点专科，擅长微创技术治疗腰椎疾病、关节疾病等，并开展了多项相关临床研究，获得了多项研究成果。
